  9. The Amiga caters for many varied programs, and these programs use their
  10. own data types. CFX (Crunched File eXaminer) contains a huge database
  11. of known filetypes and can deduce a file's "type" very quickly, in a
  12. fashion like the AmigDOS "list" or "dir" commands. Contains options to
  13. check for types like "executable, "not executable", "crunched", "graphics",
  14. "sounds" etc. Also CFX disassembles many picture formats, including JPEG,
  15. GIF, ILBM and the PNG format
